I like this. I recall a scene from a recent movie (I won't say which one, in case you haven't seen it yet) where an old man decides to do some simple things he always said he'd do but never got around to doing. Like getting a different haircut and tipping the barber, and shopping for a new suit. Nothing that broke the bank, really. Just simple things to make him happy so he wouldn't have any regrets later.
