[Hellball] Reward System

Some thoughts about the reward system for my Iron MACE Game Chef entry, Hellball. Recall that in Hellball, you play a pro football player who's been "recruited" by The Devil to play a ball game of few rules and much violence in Hell, where the stakes are the soul of a loved-one. Traits are essentially a resource for getting dice to win conflicts. By choosing to earn sin traits or virtue traits, you show your preference for arena of choice. Success in hell depends on sin traits. Success on earth depends on virtue traits, theoretically -- you could use violence to make your girlfriend stop loving that other guy and start loving you, for example, but it probably won't work out well in the end ( ... )
