Weekend antics

Last weekend saw me going to the Batcave anniversary event on Friday with the fabulous pixie_fae, sablednah and one of their friends. I was pretty excited about it for several reasons. Firstly, it was going to be the first time I got to meet any of pixie_fae's entourage and I wanted to make a good impression. Secondly, it's been ages since I've been to a proper Goth night

Glad you had a great weekend, surrounded by many cool, interesting and gorgeous people! I only wish I could have as much fun. You call this a 'trip down memory lane' or a 'midlife crisis'? Well, your memories are pretty awesome, and even at 'midlife' you're seeming younger than me. You're certainly having more fun! lol.

..and bear in mind that's a wig! My own hair is red and chin length and according to several credible sources makes me look completely different :)

It's a very nice picture, and I can imagine how you would look with your normal hair from it.

I'll have to try and put some more advance notice in my journal when I'm next planning to be out, doign somethign social!

I quite fancied going to that but (a) skint as an incredibly skint thing (b) feeling generally crappy and (c) didn't actually know anyone to hang out with there. *sigh* maybe next time.

There is nobody on this earth who has a less active social life than me.

Feel free to friend me but I'm being super-cautious about friending people back at the moment. Especially, I'm sorry to say, given that you're close friends with someone I actively despise. It's not that I think this makes *you* a bad person but I'm still very wary.

Close friends would be the exaggeration of the year. I've only met him on less than a handful of occasions and we've exchanged mails and texts..but I can understand that you're extra cautious right now.
