The poor things... :(

Two-Headed Turtle

Poor babies. I hope the store takes proper care of them.  Oh, they must be SO MISERABLE! I'd be miserable too if I were conjoined with my brother.

I do love turtles, but I don't think I can take care of them properly.  I'm afraid they'd die a slow death if I ever got around to taking care of a couple of them-- ( Read more... )

Poor babies :'( There's another of those turtles that has one body and two heads :(

Maybe they'll kill themselves, those turtles can be suicidal, I had one that jumped from an 8th floor :( twice and it's not the first story I've known about their suicidal instincts...

And the turtles are easy to take care of, they can eat anything (mine loves to eat pasta and chicken) you just need to be sure that they must drink water at least three times at week! But yes your cat can (and most certainly will) eat turtle :/

I know for a fact that really old turtles, upon the onset of their death, would swim into the ocean so they could die there. Turtles, I heard, also shed tears. So if any of that is true, I can't bear the thought of a two-headed Turtle being oggled like some side-show freak.

How does one give a turtle something to drink? Do they have a special spout like hampsters do?

Oh yes, those turtles can shed tears.

I've no idea about how Hamsters drink their water. We put our turtle in the tub and in a small plastic plate, we fill it with water and he drinks from it without problems!

Oh noez!1 :(

And since they're joined in such a way that they can't SEE each other, I wonder if they're AWARE that they're joined? Goodness, just imagine.. they'd never GET anywhere!

They'd have to learn how to walk sideways, I suppose. But jeez, I feel so bad for them. I hope the store owner, or anybody would give it TLC. I used to tickle the underside of the necks of my cousin's turtles and they appeared to like it. They'd lift their head higher to encourage the scratching and close their eyes.

Poor babies...:(
I had two turtles (James Dean- the fast and neurotic turtle ever!- and Elizabeth Taylor). My dog (Greta Garbo) killed them...:(

I know that 'no-water' (sp?) turtles drink water.

Aww.

See, that's why I can't risk taking care of turtles. It seems cruel to close them into a glass box just so my kitty can't get at them, but they'll never be safe otherwise.

Wow. now I'm sad. Like the previous poster I wonder if they even know they are attached. It does sort of look like the kind of creature Hagrid would be drawn to. :)

If it were someone like Hagrid taking care of them, at least we can be sure they'd be loved! ;)

Next time I get a snake in the basement, it's all yours.
