Okay, I admit it... I'm a REAL fangirl

Mar 29, 2007 20:55

So I'm a fan of all things Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe.

Having seen much of Dan Rad lately (and that's not a bad thing at all), it was also nice to hear about Emma, even if it has nothing to do with Daniel busting a move with her (which he hasn't, if we're going to go by their denials of it).

Based on this, this, and this, Emma Watson is ( Read more... )

*giggles*

fangirling is super FUN, tho! ;D

awww. look at her! ♥ and she got herself a strapping young man, too! and it's sooo cute that they're both super smart! hee.

i'm gonna miss all the flirting and cuteness that was Dan/Emma, though. aren't YOU? but hey, who's to say that that has to stop, necessarily? *G*

oh and, on a completely diff. note. I was just rereading 'Life N.E.W.T.s' and was wondering - what are the chances that you might write a smutty alt. ending following that snog, where Hermione runs into the Happy Gryff? I'd really, really love to see it if you're ever so inclined to write it up. there was just TOO MUCH angst there to let it all go to waste, you know? ;)

*is hopeful*

lol! i keep seeing your post as i'm constantly skimming thru my flist over and over again and i can't help it! everytime i see the Emma/boyfriend rumor post (assuming that that's what it is - a RUMOR, as it tends to be a known fact that she has many close guy friends), i keep thinking - 'NOOOOOOOOO. i still want Dan/Emma!' *stomps foot* 'coz dammit! they're sooo cute together! XD but i suppose it's expected that they would want to see what other options there are out there. ;)

ha. oky, okay. that's enough fangirling for today!

Yeah, I'm with you on the Dan/Emma thing. It's slightly disappointing that we never even had a confirmation. I really thought they looked uber cute together.

I can just probably dream of a future that they would, in their thirties, maybe, find each other (again ;)) and live happily ever after.

Ah, daydreams.

*sigh*

Yahhhhh. Daydreams. :) That's pretty much all we've got now. But hey! It's not like they're MARRIED already. lol! But OMG, they would have such pretty babies together!! ♥

Too much cuteness. The closest we've ever come to any sort of confirmation is probably Dan's confession that he once had a crush on her "back during the first film, but now it's too weird" he said. Right. You finally admit it AFTER 2 years of denial. We believe you. *snigger*

I can't really blame her for wanting both a stud athlete and a brain. The girl deserves it from the little I've seen of her on interviews and whatnot. She is a very impressive young woman so fangirl away.

I actually do admire what Emma does when she's not filming movies. She's an ace student, she participates in extra-curricular activities like football, and she gets invited to institutions like Oxford. I'm thinking: This girl would be a freaking philospher or rocket scientist if she wasn't an international movie star. And now she's gotten herself an intelligent guy who also happens to be an ace athlete. Even her boyfriend choice is A+. Lol. I have high hopes for that gal. I'm almost confident that she won't become one of those Paris Hiltons and Lindsay Lohans.

I'll admit I've thought the little video snippets and such of her being sisterly/affectionate with Dan have been very nice/cute, and I was disappointed when I recently read - in a quote from Rupert, I think, regarding what little he knew of her plans to continue with the movies - that she no longer was really in touch with him or Dan, no longer sending them SMS messages, ringing them up, etc. I guess this news of yours explains that.

I guess I'm back to hoping I see Hermione and Harry get together in movie #7 ...

Perhaps there's a grain of truth to the reports that Rupert said that. It saddens me a bit that the three of them grew apart, but hey, it's difficult to blame her. Rupert and Dan do movies and she goes to school. I guess... they just ran out of things to talk about. Didn't have many things in common anymore.

Ah, well.

Sadly, I'm a Dan and Emma fan girl as well! I'm kinda sad to see she's dateing some other guy (guess i was holding out for a H/Hr real life kinda thing). Then again, that news is on sites with other false info (the first one) and the Sun is really just a British Tabloid sooo, I dont know?! Im choosing to take it as false...just cause I want to!

It would've been adorable, yeah? But I have to admit that it's interesting to read about them separately.

I hope Dan and Emma don't lose their chemistry on screen, though. That would be a terrible thing to waste.

I just tend to find it amusing whenever I read Dan and Emma references in fanfiction: Lissane's Love is a Crime has Ginny as a wedding planner for the "Radcliffe/Watson" wedding. Then at least three separate authors cite Hermione's parents as being named Daniel and Emma ^^ I think JKR ought to do something like that...she already sneaked in the Rupert naming of Ron via Slughorn...

The whole not-contacting Dan and Rupert is kind of sad, just because it's so typical of teenagers when they get into the dating scene. The best boy friends/best girl friends either pose problems for the relationship (ala Krum/Hermione/Harry) or the friends suffer the loss of the other person. Sad that the latter seems to have happened.

The Dan/Emma references are immensely amusing. Hermione's parents being named that was cute at first, but it got a little old. The casual-quick references like in Lisanne's story is always cute, though. I can always appreciate something like that. I do a bit of it here and there, not necessarily in pairs, and it's usually just Emma Watson. I use the name "Emma" or "Watson" separately, but I wouldn't mind mentioning Dan and Emma together. ^_^

I was just telling madderbrad that there might actually be some truth to what Rupert said. It's not impossible to suppose that Emma, staying in school, just drew apart from Rupert and Dan because they ran out of things in common. She's thinking of college while they're doing movies and plays. Emma had two movie-rumors, one turning out to be false (being offered a role in Children of Men) while the other remains unconfirmed (St. Trinian's). It's like it's inevitable that she grew apart from the boys... :(
