LOL. WELL SAID!!!

No way will I buy this. I regret purchasing DH even, but back then I was hoping that Rowling was a capable storyteller and HBP was just a one-shot aberration.

What vexes/amuses me the most about this new book is the additional Dumbledore material about the history and pursuit of magic wands. It's been suggested that Rowling's going to try and fix up some of the most grievous errors with the new contrived wand lore that she introduced in DH. On the forums I've been shown her interview quotes about same - her attempts to answer questions that highlight the flat-out contradictions in DH - and it is honestly priceless how Rowling has been turning cartwheels trying to make the last book work.

This new book may be good fun! Official canon DH-fixup material!

[Laugh] So true. It's just like this Special Edition version of the Philosopher's Stone; with all these appendices she's smacking on all her books, what do you need the actual story for?

I couldn't see the price when that mail came. 100$, people say?! I wouldn't touch it for 100$, let alone read it.

Then again, maybe i would take the money and throw it away for recycling. Let's not disrespect the trees cut for all that paper. I'm considerate like that. Just like the author herself.
