Gah, still recovering from the scorching hotness and the soul-crushing ending. It's been a long time since I've been this sad about Laura's cancer and what it does to their relationship (denial and all that), but it's good to be back. :)
Wow. So insanely dirty-hot, both the Carolanne memories and then the present day, and then...oh. Hearing the start of the tape and thinking that was from when he didn't know yet...killer.
I'm so glad you enjoyed this--I had such a good time writing it!

Oh, I love how you picked up on that. It was actually rather difficult to figure out exactly how to go about getting rid of the tape (I knew from the beginning that there was no way he could ever keep it). Thankfully, larsfarm77 was a brilliant help with that!
I am so glad you thought this was so hot--I had an absolute blast writing those parts. I've been toying around with Adama/Carolanne for a while now (I have something for them that's far angstier than this) and when I was reading through defyingnormalcy's fic in order to do the remix, I started trying to figure out how a tape like this might have come into existence.
there is something off about her wild abandon and willingness to do all this, but it's not till that suckerpunch at the end with the cancer reveal that it all makes sense
I really love how you put that and how you picked up on the fact that there was something off. And yeah, I kind of do like to pull that suckerpunch.
I'm so glad to know you enjoyed this. Thanks for such lovely comments. :)
I love so much about this. I like how you treat Bill/Carolanne. It's nice to see that they had some good times. I like how Laura handled finding the tape, and their sex was so hot. And then the THUD of the cancer reveal, so perfect. So much angsty sexy wonderfulness! ♥ ♥ ♥

I had such a blast picturing this and then trying to find the words to describe it and then sprinkling those little clues throughout.
I already know that this is a fic I'm gonna return to every now and then when I need a good A/R fix.
You have no idea how happy this makes me! :D
Thanks so much for such amazing comments!
