A wonderful companion to the original story. It's good to see his take on the events, his feelings and thoughts, his conflicting emotions. Bill's head sure is an interesting place.

So sorry for the late comment--I'm trying to read these now before I actually see the author reveal.

I really enjoyed the way you got into Adama's head here. There really was room for the show to go with Laura/Lee, and it's fascinating to imagine and get to picture how Adama might have reacted.

This is such a fantastic description of Laura, and I love that it comes from Adama's perspective:

How many people had underestimated her, had chalked her up as soft only to learn that Laura Roslin was made of fire and ice? She would burn you either way.

Really enjoyed Bill's anger in the beginning. He doesn't really get angry on the show that much, does he? Certainly passionate, just never really angry.. I think you captured how he would respond to something like this quite well.
