Em smiled and pressed close to her husband, holding his hand tightly. "I'm ready, yes," she said, excited and a little scared. "I imagine that it will be. Though I daresay actually having the baby and holding it the first time will rank a touch higher."
"I'm sure it will my love," Adam said, leaning down to kiss his wife softly. "Hopefully seeing a picture of the little bugger will tide us over until we can meet he or she. Has the baby been active again today?"
She smiled, kissing him back gently. "I certainly hope so. Though maybe we'll be so amused and enthralled that we won't want to stop looking." She nodded, smiling wider, "Absolutely. I think it's doing flips in there." And it likely was, to be honest.
"I bet that will happen but you've gotten used to me not wanting to stop looking you so the baby can too!" He grinned and rubbed her belly, giving the baby sort of a pre-natal high five. "That's my baby! Always moving."
He held her tight against him. "Shall we?" And with that he apparated to the front of a hospital building in muggle London and ushered her inside.
