Oh, this continues to be brilliant! The Doctor's really caught up in a massive bout of self-pity, really, isn't he? Believing that the only reason Rose and Jack are with him is that they feel sorry for him - idiot!

You've got some wonderful turns of phrase in here, for example this:
Wasn’t she still two days out of Henrik’s and charmingly surprised by how alien the aliens were? Or maybe he’d just idolized his memory of her as that wide-eyed innocent after he’d lost her.

She’d been a wide-eyed innocent with a disturbingly large gun when he’d found her again.

And now he's trapped! Close to being crushed! You've done a great job with Aria, by the way. Intelligent, daring, probably a bit too jeopardy-friendly ;)

Come on, Jack and Rose, to the rescue!

Oh, dear ... it does sound as if the Doctor's been hit a little too hard on the head. Although maybe it'll knock some sense into him regarding his traveling companions love for him. One can always hope.

And now I have to wait with everyone else for updates, I'm sad to say. Just when it really gets tense. Love Avia, btw. Wonderfully realized character, one who has both the Doctor's attention and mine. It will be interesting to see how she eventually balances faith and "science," so to speak -- assuming they both make it out of this particular pinch! Impressive physical strength for Ten, as well, despite the fact that he "needs to eat more." (Lovely, intimate touch, that.) It's always nice to see him as a Time Lord and a Gallifreyan, with physical abilities that differ from human standard.

Keep going! I'm waiting eagerly. :)
