Wet night

Again. At least this time it was a light rain.
But, it kept me from playing ball with Kitty before we came in, and now she's wandering and whining. :(

But American Ninja Warrior is On!!!

We had over 4 inches at our house between midnight and 7am, and it kept pouring until almost noon today. It was crazy. But I think the field (10 miles West of my house) only got around a half-inch. It's so weird to me how the rainfall amounts can differ so much in a relatively short distance.

Yes! My friend lives about a mile from me, and there are times one of us gets deluged, and the other gets nothing.

Last night some lightening and thunder rolled in, with a bit of rain. My mother called from their home in Kenosha, saying the Milwaukee news said the area between Dubuque and Madison was getting severe rain, hail, wind, etc. I told her it was noisy and flashy, but the rain itself wasn't a big deal. As we talked it passed by.

This morning I learned that Platteville, just a 15-minute drive away, got 2 inches of rain from that storm.

Actually...when I let her in the house without the leash I totally threw the ball for her. lol
