So close, but so far

The heating guy came today to find the name of the furnace in case it needs a particular kind of thermostat. To do that he said he had to take some pieces off to get to the plate. However, after he left I realized that my house was heating up. Within an hour it was all the way up to 73F ( Read more... )

Gah, cold houses are no fun! I hope it gets sorted quickly.

I love lunge lessons. Tyler said he will give me one once per week once u have more access to a horse.

Lucky you - I don’t have any days off for American Thanksgiving this year, so we will celebrate on the weekend.

Thanks. May have found a clue. We'll see.

It really was great.

Darn. Have a good weekend, then, at least.

I was worried when I saw that you said your house was heating up to 73 until you said it was a relief. It costs so much money to heat my house I never set the thermostat even to 70 - it stays between 65-68 most of the time. Even then I'm paying $100/week for propane in the winter. How much does it cost to run your furnace?

Oh man, that stinks.
My house is about 2200 sq on one level, and I have a natural gas furnace. I can't think right now what a usual bill in the coldest months are, but I don't think I've ever spent more than $150, and probably less than that.
