Cheap Cat Food

But also, this is what you get when you buy cheap cat food for the barn cats. Pull what narrow tape?

By "narrow tape" I'd assume they mean string. Just like grain bags.

Usually there's a little tape just under the string, though, to help it pull. And I can't get this string to pull by itself.
But, I always have scissors handy. :)

Oh god. Those things have always been the bain of my existence.  I never get them to work!!!

They can be really tricky sometimes, the little buggers.

Even when the narrow tape is actually there, half the time I can't get them to work anyway because the tape part rips from around the string, which doesn't budge. I knife those with vindictive satisfaction.

Do you have Farm & Fleet near you? I buy their brand of catfood in 40-pound bags for my outside cats, and they thrive on it. Typically $20 per bag, but I manage to catch it on sale virtually every time I have to buy it, so can save $1 or $2.
