Did you know that the vacuum works much better when the cannister is empty, as opposed to so full it's packed in like sardines? It's true.

And I have managed to get this three inch scratch right at the top of my left thigh under my butt. At the barn somehow. Hurts. But really, how does one get a scratch like that, and not notice? /weird

Ah, the mysteries of the vacuum cleaner...I have similar conversations with my 12 year old when she complains about it not working on the carpet in her room ;)

Also, unexplained scratches seem to be a theme this weekend - last night I was watching tv when I suddenly realised my head was bleeding! I have no idea why - of course me being me (and fanfiction being fanfiction and something I am reading far too much of lately) I immediately checked my palms for signs of stigmata!!! My husband was all 'why are you looking at your hands when your head's bleeding? Also why is your head bleeding?'
