Is that the one with the statues? That one scared the shit out of me. I don't like stuff that jumps out at you.

No, it was the second half of The End of Time. This was David's last ep as the Doctor.
And yeah, that one with the statures was the freakiest.

Oh I have to agree tonight's Doctor Who was excellent and much better performance for David than when the Master died. There were a few bits that I thought "mmm" or "eh" or "wait, what?" but overall I really enjoyed it!

What do you think of the new guy? Not that we saw a lot, but he seems like he might be okay.

Hubby and I both have decided that we a bit excited to see how the new guy does, it looks like it's going to be a fun season. My only problem is the bow ties he insists on wearing! What little we did see of him, with the whole regeneration thing I was little worried at first that he might try to be too much like David, but after that initial scene I thought, no, I think he's going to put his own spin on it just like Nine and Ten both did. I'm looking forward to the new season *grins*
