I'm still in a blissed out state with SGA now. I really, really liked this ep. Thought it was one of the most emotionally well done of not just this season, but possibly the series. And the John/Rodney scene just killed me. Joe and David nailed it. Did Gero write this one? It's sooo slashy. I couldn't have been the only person thinking about John when Jeanie asked Rodney why he hasn't married Katie, if they thinks he's going to find someone better and he's all "Er, well, it's not that..." Yeah, it's a bit more complicated, Jeanie.
I must have been the only one who didn't know we were promised an angsty McShep scene this season. It was definitely produced in spades!
I mind of missed the implication of Rodney saying it's more complicated because I was busy cringing because it had been brought up. Very good point, though.

I loved the way the Katie thing was brought up. It was so random and made perfect sense for Jeanie to just throw it out there as a totally obvious subject change. Rodney's flailing and wtf look was hilarious.
