It was fun. We ate like pigs, shopped, and watched awesome horses-oh yeah, and their riders, too. ;)

We made it to the evening finals - which was a desperately needed fix, but it was a long way from just really sinking into that world for a while.

Which, since we've gotten so far removed from (a) nature and (b) any reasonable prospect of a life including horses, at least till I finish my degree, that it's kind of not so bad.

But still, I'm hoping that next year we'll be able to go and spend some time. Waving at the horses on the ranch I pass on the way to work just isn't enough! *g*

THEY WEREN'T THERE!!!! waaaahhhh!!!! She apparently failed the vet check, or something. Oh man. And it really would have added to it. Isabell was awesome. Everyone else was a teeny bit disappointing-new horses, or hormonal horses, or something. *rolls eyes*
But it was fun.
