The blackmail case ended on Friday. It was...wow. One of those times where you wonder what separates what the good guys do to win from what the bad guys do...but in the end, we're stopping the bad guys, right?

I think the difference is they blackmail to gain something for themselves, and you're doing it for a "greater purpose". That being, get the bad guy before he does it again.

Yeah, we got him. And hey, it was a plan approved by the D.A. (albeit thought up by Michael) and it worked. He won't do a lot of prison time, since he wasn't the actual murderer - but his career is pretty ruined.

He did. Not that being the editor for CitySmear was an illustrious career, but it meant something to him.
