Ooh! I'm really interested in how this one goes. Since I assume the story this is a sequel to was based on the events of 'In my time of dying' and that this one takes place two years ahead, that you're not going with the events of 'All hell breaks loose' and Sam will, therefore, still be alive.

The plot bunnies always find you eventually! But uh... posting this was sort of my way of avoiding working on my other story, so I can't say I'm doing much better.

Anyhow, thanks for the comment, I'm glad you like it! I'm always iffy about the internal monologuing I write, I don't want to go too far into the four pages of personal angsting where no action occurs, but I don't want my characters to be flat either. Though I remember that Dean gave me some trouble when I started this story.

This is a lovely fic. The beginning is intriguing. I love Dean's determination to find Sam, even without his father. I'm so glad the story is finished because I would hate to not see all of it.
