I have to say this was a great read - a wonderful mix of angst, h/c, action and adventure. And do I even have to mention wee!Winchesters? Little guys in trouble ... *sniff sniff* It's funny, a friend and I had a challenge to write a story with a premise similar to yours - what kind of incident might have premeditated John keeping his kids away from the mainstream hunters? A friend and I worked on it but RL got in the way and I didn't have a chance to write mine up at all. Yours was a great chance to freshen my outlook on that fic. *grin* The first poster mentioned how great your foreshadowing was - and seriously? It was great ... you didn't go overboard with trying to tell John everything, and yet you got the point across that he knew early on that Sammy would be in danger. Kudos to you for a great fic. Really great fic!

Awesome ending to an awesome story. We didn't get all the answers we wanted but its still cool cause you gave good reason. I like that this sort of gives another view on Sam's future in the world.

I wonder if you're gonna have Tressy in any future stories? I've grown to like her very much.

Thanks a lot, I'm glad you liked the story! Teresa is definitely going to be in future stories. I started writing one that took place when the boys were teenagers with her in it, then decided it would make more sense to rewind and introduce her in the first circumstance that John met her instead. So she'll definitely be around. I'm so glad to hear you liked her, I'm always concerned with how OCs are going to be received, but all of the feedback on Teresa has been positive, so that's definitely a great feeling for me.
