This was hauntening and brilliantly written. I could really feel Jess's fear of everything that was happening. I loved the fact tha ole' Yellow Eyes was stalking and messing with her before she copped it.

Just a really good read and something I could totally see happening on the show.

Great job :)

Thanks a lot! I'm glad to see that Jess' emotions really came out to the reader like I wanted them to. Thanks again!

I know I've said it before, but this fic is so beautiful and evocative. The music is really haunting too. It really broke my heart reading it - where Jess is hoping that Sam will come but of course we all know that he doesn't.

After I heard the song I just immediately thought it would be cool to write a fic to it, and this idea with Jess and the demon came out of nowhere, so I'm really pleased that it managed to turn out so well. I love Jess (perhaps because I started watching Supernatural around "Asylum" when Sam's all sad about her being dead and then went back and saw the Pilot, just made me feel really bad for both of them because I knew she was going to die), and I'm glad that people seem to like my portrayal of her.

And thanks a lot for you help and your comments!

One of the most heartbreaking stories of Jess' demise I've ever read. The possibility that she knew what was happening, sensed the danger to both her and Sam, is truly terrifying. Poor Jess. I would like to think she doesn't blame Sam, that her time with him was worth this. Beautifully done! Love, Robin

I thought it was just so sad to write about her knowing she was being stalked, knowing that the police couldn't help, but afraid to tell Sam because she didn't know if he would understand or not; the barriers both of their lies made in this story inevitably ended with her death, when maybe if she told him he could've stopped it. Makes what happened not entirely Sam's fault for not warning her, but also not entirely her fault for not telling him. Just that anxiety about being believed coming between them.

I'm sort of sad that Jess hardly got mentioned after season one, I feel like her character was really important, not just because of what happened to her, but also because of how much Sam clearly loved her. I like to think she would've thought him worth it too.

Thanks a lot for the comments, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
