Google is adding new ways to help users find and support Black-owned businesses, the search giant said Thursday. US merchants with a verified Google Business Profilecan now add a Black-owned business attribute to their profile so customers can see that it's Black-owned when they find that business

yep. the empowerment of minorities, for which i am an advocate and even a fighter ( no demonsrations please )should come in a different way.

i was stoked to learn that the new neurosurgery fellow is a BLACK WOMAN.

not lesbian. not one-legged, a star resident who happened to be black.

this is how it should proceed.

On the other hand, a normal person will not avoid a black business just because it is black.

In a normal situation of course not. But given all that is going on, some people might want to sort of redress the unfairness.
