[Event] Nahlan Festival!

Why: It's the annual Nahlan Festival! Celebrating dates, camels, and... ancient artifacts? That might be magitech? It's worth investigating for sure. Oh, and Kadir's back.

[It's been a while since anyone's seen Kadir. He mysteriously disappeared like Johnny, though unlike Johnny... no one seemed to really notice. Kadir has a way of not causing people to worry like that.

Point is, he's got a rather large booth near the front of the vendors' bazaar. Come and buy his overpriced goods! He certainly knows that people can't resist the allure of ancient artifacts nabbed straight from the temples of famous Summon Spirits.]

[Luke wanders down a particularly crowded street, doing his best not to bump or get bumped by too many of the festival-goers. It's hot and the activities have probably upped the natural temperature of the town by about ten degrees. That's his opinion, anyway. Oh, and there's sand all in his boots. And lots of weird smells. But Luke doesn't mind too much (not enough to complain too loudly) with all the new sights and sounds. Color, color everywhere, and the flash of metal.]

[Luke pauses to peer up at a large fountain that's been refashioned to spout a curtain of flames, and then another way to study a display of tinted glass bottles you're supposed to use to preserve the "blessed water".]

So this is a festival, huh?
