Anise stretched her arms above her head as she stepped out of the guild, a recent quest she just finished was definitely taking it's toll on her as she tried to work out her stiff muscles. Noticing a bit of green in the corner of her eye, the girl turned and noticed Ion, a soft smile forming on her lips as she did...that was...until she noticed the bag.

"Ion...are you going somewhere?" She asked, somewhat surprised she didn't hear anything from him about it.

At the same time almost Veigue appeared. He made his way Ion, ignoring Anise.

"When are we leaving?"

After asking that Veigue seemed to notice Anise's presence. He didn't pay her much thought though, sparing her only as much as a rather cold glance and then turning to Ion again, he asked:

"...And who is this?"

Ion hesitated briefly, flustered by Anise's sudden appearance. Now that she was here, he felt a bit guilty about not telling her that he was planning a trip. Still, he couldn't bother her when she was busy with quests, and so he had hoped to leave and return quickly while she was occupied with guild matters.

"I'm sorry Anise," he said, bowing his head guiltily. "I should have told you that I was going somewhere, but you seemed busy." Turning to Veigue, he added, "Veigue, this is Anise. If you don't mind, we're waiting for one more person. We can leave after she arrives."

"I'm right here you know, you could ask me for my name yourself." Anise complained to the stranger before turning back to Ion, her expression softening when she heard his reason.

The girl reached out, gently taking his hands into her own.

"I'm not so busy that I don't have time for you Ion, you know this." She told him, giving his hands a gentle squeeze before softly speaking.

"Will you be back in time for my birthday?" She knew he probably wouldn't but she did have high hopes he'd be able to, the former guardian really wanted him to be there seeing how his presence was gift enough for her.
