Who: Lloyd Irving, and YOU.

...Just how long was he looking? )

"Hey!" Luke spoke up from where he was standing, not too far from Lloyd. He was carrying a bag of groceries and had spent a good portion of the past two hours training and hunting down reasonable bargains in the marketplace.
"You know there's a cafe in the Cheagle Inn. The food's not too bad, either. ...Well, as long as you don't mind your toast a little burnt, anyway."

The advice about the food had been most welcome, but how much gald did he have on him? He did recall leaving most of the spending to Regal and therefore had left the man with the largest sum of money out of their group.
"Uh...Thanks!" Lloyd grinned, a bit sheepishly, but it was hard not to return a kindness with another, or at least polite niceness. Right now, He'd eat even some of Raine's cooking, and while that dimmed his roaring stomach somewhat, it failed to silence it totally. Making his way over, Lloyd offered a hand. "It's nice to meet you." He didn't give his name yet, he never gave it first.

Shifting his bag to the opposite arm, Luke reached out to grasp the other swordman's hand firmly. It was kind of weird, though. Usually when people greeted you, they at least told you who they were and maybe where they had come from or what business they were here for. Luke wasn't much for formalities - not really - but this caused him to raise an eyebrow. Okay, then... He'd just ask.
"...Same. Anyway, I'm Luke. Are you new around here?" He couldn't help but be a little curious.

It was a good handshake in Lloyd's opinion. It spoke of morals and honesty, two thing he could easily get behind. "I'm really new here. Where is here, anyway?" Perhaps he should have thought to ask about that before, but oh well.

Then he saw her start running. He panicked, running towards her as well. She knew better, honestly. Running for everything he was worth, he reached for her, trying to save her from the ground.

... but then she felt a very warm body instead of the cold ground. And somehow, she knew Lloyd had saved her again. The amount of red she saw when she opened her eyes was a big clue, in any case.

"...You dummy. I worried." Easing her up, Lloyd looked down at her, checking to see if she was alright. Relief, and more concern hovered in his gaze.
