[Mithos had been working on paperwork for three solid hours. It was something he did to pass the time, as Mithos never needed to eat or sleep. Granted, it was boring, tedious, and made his hand dark, but what else was there to do here? He hadn't earned the trust of the Wuldorwurth nobility yet, and he wasn't much for being social, especially with humans.

... speaking of humans, Mithos looked up from his papers when he heard his door creaking open. There was Arietta, his only member, peeking from behind the door. Mithos motioned towards the chair in front of his desk, and forced a smile.]

Come on in, Arietta. I was just finishing a report for the nobles, since a lot of the people they did business with in Port Merrium are now dead, or without ships.

[He had to stop himself from saying "You know how humans are about money."]

[Arietta jumped slightly when she heard Mithos's voice. She hadn't even noticed him until now. But she accepted his offer and came in fully, closing the door behind her.

Arietta didn't say anything about that Hydra attack, nor did she want to think about it. She couldn't tame the monster or save it. She remained quiet as she sat down in the chair in front of Mithos's desk, holding her doll tightly since she didn't have anything to say at that moment.]

[The way Arietta quietly entered the room, and almost hid behind her doll made him raise an eyebrow. He studied her face for a moment... she was definitely worried about something, and he had no idea what it was. The hydra, maybe? But it was dead!]

Arietta, are you okay?

[Mithos asked, tilting his head slightly out of curiosity.]

[Arietta raised her head slightly. Something was on her mind, but it took her a little while to admit it.]

(It's about Ion...)
I-It's about that Hydra... Maybe if I've gotten close enough...I could've convinced it to join our side.

[It was more of a lie than it was the truth. She did have some concern about the hydra, but it was really Ion and that dreaded event that happened when she still lived in Blessenwood that she had been thinking about before.]
