[Norma had just finished taking care of a last-minute errand she'd had to run in preparation for her departure to Port Merrium. Now she had some time to herself before she had to leave tomorrow. She pondered what to do as she walked through town.]

(Hm... I wonder if there's time to throw myself a going-away party...)

[As she was considering this, a strange kid caught her eye. He didn't look like one of the townspeople. She paused for a moment, then gave a soft sigh and walked over to him. Might as well do a good deed for the day, right?]

You look lost, kid. You new here?

[Ruca quickly looked at the girl startled by her question.]

Huh? Um... Y-yes... I guess.

[Well, talking to strangers was never a thing he was good at.
