Wow, okay, so hey guys. It's been a while, hasn't it? But since I actually just renewed my account, it was a pretty good reminder that hey, I should maybe use it.

Basically I write short 300-word blogs for random companies on any sort of topic. They can be insurance agencies, builders, doctors, dentists... whatever. But when they need a blog for their site, they write the company I contract with, and they assign me a blog topic - a package is two blogs, a little summary of a YouTube video they give me, and a links list. It's... easy, and yet very time-consuming at the same time. >> Some topics are really weird.

That star tours job sounds like a lot of fun (well, and it sounds like fun to be someone on the tour)! I'm glad you're having fun with it.

The drive thru camera thing, though... that would be really frustrating when you guys are busy, I imagine. The starbucks with a drive thru nearest my house always has a line all the way back to the street in the mornings. I always sort of thought that starbucks drive thru as a silly thing, but on the odd occasion I want coffee, I've been known to do just that at Brewing Market. Oh well. :D;

How are you liking AZ? It's a beautiful state. (And also much closer to me! I'm running out of excuses to not visit sometime.)

It's definitely a lot of fun, and the guests do seem to be having a good time! I wish it were a full-time job, but oh well. XD It's good money for what it is, and easy for me~ :D;

Yeah... it's been interesting. We weren't too busy yesterday for some reason, but this morning it did get a bit hectic. Thankfully there were enough people scheduled that someone could simply watch the camera and input orders at the same time and have that be their only job. I totally agree, though - I used to think a drive thru for coffee was absolutely ridiculous, but we are usually busier there than in the lobby (so if I am ever going anywhere in the morning and stop for coffee, I always go in to beat the crowd, haha

The star tours sounds like a great side gig! The public generally loves astronomy so it's pretty easy to capture their attention with the pretty night sky. Good luck with finding full-time work!

It's really fun - and a great way to let people see what using a really nice telescope is like! And I'm definitely still keeping in touch with people up at U of A, so hopefully someone will have some funding for me soooooon....
