About the Game

THE STORY:
The world is dying. Crops have ceased to grow properly and are being choked out by weeds, monsters have been attacking close to major cities and capitals, and many ships have failed to return to port, meaning trade routes between continents have been rendered useless. With these changes, the citizens have become restless. Some have begun blaming the cities' rulers, others have pointed fingers at the church, while a select few are convinced that these occurences are all a part of Martel's anger at having been trapped inside the Great Tree over a thousand years ago.

The members of Ad Libitum have been busy as a result. Ad Libitum is a series of guilds stationed within different cities. Each of the guilds has a leader, and each of the branches has vowed to work together for the good of all. The members of Ad Libitum possess special abilities and are enlisted by the people to do chores in exchange for rewards - members may deliver goods to other cities, vanquish monsters, or gather raw materials. Not just anyone can join Ad Libitum, however. You must earn the trust of your comrades and prove your worth. Bravery is only the first step.

ABOUT ITS ORIGINS:
Named after the guild from the game "Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology", this roleplaying game also fills a new world (named "Atlas") with characters from each of the other "Tales of" games, creating a crossover universe where the characters can interract with one another while staying much the same as they were in their home worlds. This roleplaying game will combine several ideas from the game including quests, recruiting characters (in this case other players) and forming parties, and working together to untangle mysteries and further the plot. Minor quests will be managed by all members, and plot-important quests will be overseen by moderators. Any other events you wish to host are up to you and completely welcome.
