Perhaps they are strangely drawn by your effervescent charm, sir. Speaking of charms, there's something amiss with one of the shelves in the stores - it seems to be giving off the impression that it's fully stocked, but it isn't.
Professor Snape should not be lifting large jars with snakes in them. Daisy and Clancy will help so Professor Snape can rest. Perhaps Professor Snape would like to rest in the infirmary while being examined by Madam Pomfrey?

Professor Snape is such a kidder. Would you like Daisy to prepare a soothing solution for your hand, Professor Snape, sir? Madam Pomfrey says that soaking your hand in a bowl of this for an hour four times a day will help strengthen it and ease the pain.

I am not in any pain. Unless one counts the emerging headache brought on by having a shrill-voiced House Elf following one around yammering.
As a curative, I suggest you go and soak your head in the aforementioned bowl. If you can keep that up for an hour, I think my own headache will improve immeasurably.
