i know how you feel. it takes a little while to get used to, but it's not sooo bad. ben's eight and a half hours away so him visiting is basically out of the question unless on breaks and stuff so we see each other for like 2 days every month or so. even though it sucks, it really makes the time together seem alot more special. im sure you could try and work something out with work too so like every three weeks or something you wont work weekends. try asking! the worst they can say is no, but by not asking the answer already is no.

kristin, you do not need to drop out of college. that is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. everyone misses their significant other when they aren't around but you shouldn't be so dependent on each other that it effects your future in such a drastic way. you should be glad that hes only a few hours away and can come home for weekend trips. some peoples boy/girl friends live 8 or more hours away and only see each other a few days every 2 or 3 months. sorry to sound like such a bitch.
