People are indeed strange. I tend to say things closet to "people suck", but Homo sapiens are a complicated, illogical species who half the time don't deserve the "sapiens" in our(?) name. Perhaps this person is simply a contrarian ass?

Also, I love the term "Rainbow Revisionist."

I don't understand how these hu-mans conduct themselves, no. :P Anyway, I'm sure she'll get turned off soon enough by the revisionism, especially since right now I'm sort of all "THOSE TWO. *_* IT'S FUCKING CANON" all the time.

Haha, thanks. It's gonna be my superhero name.

I have recently acquired feelings! My friend Alison is SUPER INTO IT right now, and she's been linking me clips of these two.

Watch more and then get on GoogleTalk so we can have feelings at each other! My friends and I started watching it, and I expected it to be mildly entertaining, and it ended up becoming... my favorite thing in the universe right about now. I love just about everybody on that show so damn much.

Are you not watching it linearly, then? We just started season three (only, uh, I went wading through the wilds of fandom and got my ass randomly spoiled for all sorts of stuff ¬_¬). I feel a little bad that I don't think I can predict what you'd like besides the unambiguously queer space alien, but you should definitely give it a shot!

Well, if it's canon, it's clearly not revisionism, is it?

It's sort of ambiguously canon... basically both the actors were playing it that way, and a bunch of the writers were writing it that way, but the Powers That Be forbade them from talking about it, and the characters never actually got together on screen. They just hit on eachother constantly.

I HAVE seen DS9.

But my point remains: if it's THERE, it's not revisionist.

EDIT: I totally have my geek-cred on today.

Sorry! I wasn't aware of that. I haven't heard it talked about much and so was assuming it was one of those fandoms that had faded/was composed of mostly older people. Also, it was on TV before 2004, so I didn't know anything, either.

Your point is indeed correct.

I'm quite down with your geek cred! Um, in case you'd like to up it, are we going to be seeing you at Conbust this year? I know you have money troubles, but some people I wouldn't have expected are going despite that, so I thought I'd ask. :)
