Monday, in which I had Steak and thought about Bacon.

My Day.

Short entry today because I'm sleepy.
Last night before I went to sleep I got talking on Facebook with a friend of mine from Israel she works at a tourism shop now and told me about the effort it takes to actually get pork in Israel. Apparently some Russian Israelis don't take the Kosher rules very seriously and have some way for getting it into the country. She was basically letting me know that if I ever go back for a visit she can get me bacon this time. Which I would eat solely to say I had done it.

She was talking to me because she wanted to see what was so wrong about the short story I had written for yesterdays entry. I couldn't tell her much without spoiling it so I told her she probably already hates the main character and left it at that. She thinks I should give up on the library malarkey and go get a job as a writer.

I woke up and started working on my ePortfolio, then at around 3:30pm I decided to play some Command and Conquer(the very original game) I played some of it yesterday but I had forgotten to save it(modern games just auto save themselves now) so I had to rush though the first three levels as The Brotherhood of NOD and remembered to actually save the game this time around. Its not a bad game, I'm a little pissed about the controls, they're a bit fiddly after years of playing modern RTS games but still easier than the original Warcraft(which cost me $40 back in the day) where you had to click on a unit, then press a key(A for Attack, H for Harvest and M for Move) before clicking on where you wanted someone or something to go. That took ages to get used to.

Games have really evolved in the last decade or so. Playing games you used to love is actually somewhat of a chore when you go back to them because they required so many things you've just forgotten about. Like auto-saving. Why the hell was that not an idea from the very very beginning?

After that I drove to Matts house with him and he and Patrick went for a walk while I worked some more on my ePortfolio and then when they got back Matt had a bath and we went off to get steaks and do the weekly shopping.

Once that was done we went back to Matts house and Patrick left after Matt went to sleep.
And that was, pretty much, my day. As boring as hell. Pretty much the rest of the week is going to be like this until Thursday, when I will attempt to write my entry while drunk and will not use a spell check.
Good luck everyone on that day.

I'm about a day behind where I want to be on this project right now. So that means I need to work harder. I really am sick and tired of it to be honest. I'm actually also literally tired, as in sleepy, right now so I'm going to go to sleep earlier than usual and see what I can do tomorrow. Stay safe everyone.

YouTube Clip of the day.

I like this video but I think they really needed to work on the punch-line, there really wasn't one and that is just a bit annoying.
