I've always wondered about this series. A guy used to come into Alan's store dressed in a cape & witch hat whenever a new dvd would come out. I think he also had a small plush cat? We always meant to watch it and see if his costume was actually related to the show.

reshuffling the episodes kinda fucked it up in my opinion. It seemed to keep the story fresh in the original run ....
