Ray is adorable! And it's great that he's a lap cat; my kitten, Tinkerbell, is just like her owner and only is affectionate when she needs something!

I'm also glad you got him from the MoCo Humane Society rather than other places.

I wanted to go to MoCoHS because I know kill shelters have a bad rap, but the cats all still need homes. :(

I wished I could've taken moreof them with me. There was an awesome 12-year-old tabby stray named Kris who was REALLY outgoing, and I almost adopted him, but I knew I couldn't handle another cat guaranteed to just have a few years left - not so soon. :-/

I hope someone does adopt Kris, because he's so awesome. But I know from my own rescuing experience, you can't save them all...

I wish I could adopt another cat, but Tinkerbell likes having everything to herself!

Caligo never liked other cats. That didn't stop me from taking in a kitten - a calico with a strong personality, no less. :)

Were you to get another cat, it's possible for Timkerbell to get used to having another cat around - it'd just take time.

I was originally thinking a kitten, since Deuce luuuuurvs kittens... and kittens are cute and all, but it's adult cats I've always really liked. They've got mature personalities, they interact and communicate, and they understand enough to appreciate what you do for them.

Last night, while I was in the bathroom with Ray, Deuce started reaching under the door. Ray was VERY curious to sniff Deuce's arm. Both were curious, neither defensive. I get the impression they'll get along, in time. :)

Awww, Jason. I'm so sorry to hear about Caligo. I'd be freaking inconsolable. Ray looks like a beautiful kitty and he's lucky to have you for a Dad. Give Deucey some snuggles for me!
