[ it's a little later on when shuri manages to talk. after his conversation with konatsu and hei's rescue, he hasn't really been very... vocal. there was a bit of a shut down in the time it took to get from point a to point b, and when he's found his voice again. well. the miserable little blonde glances at the stained book.

but hakuren. hakuren is annoying. he's holier than thou, he's -- a traitor to what it means to be an oak, but he's infuriatingly oak all the while. ]
