Because bears are some of the most dangerous creatures here! They don't match dragons or lions or other things from my world, but they're deadly. They have razor sharp claws and large teeth and they see people as the perfect snack! Especially when one idiot has awoken them and they can smell the cake and the people inside eating the cake!
