Work today went well.  Despite the rain and the wind.  Tomorrow my clients in Grass Valley, Wednesday I work at a brothel.

Today is the first day of my new job.  I am happy to be working more.  Hopefully the rain will stay in the sky until I'm done.

We'll (V & I) be hosting a Moulin Rouge themed party at Cynaguan Coronet.  Bring out your best Can-Can dress or Bohemian costume and join us.

V and I spent the day working on our Can-Can dresses.  Usually projects turn out to be easier than I expect/plan them to be.  These dresses were more difficult.  They are going to look awesome though.

Apparently no good weekend goes unpunished.

I had a great time at Crown, which is really good because I wasn't sure I was going to.  I survived the long drive there, a lot of camp set up, absolutely awful winds on Saturday, a lot of camp tear down, and a long drive home which ended up with a nice side of snow and ice.  It was totally worth it.  I got to spend time with friends that I hadn't ( Read more... )

I know I have white thread.  I'm pretty certain that I have more than one spool of white thread, but can I find it?  NOOOO!!  I don't want to go out.  I do want to play with my mom's sewing machine on my quilt.  It's already started in white.  I really am wondering why the white thread isn't still on the machine that was set up with the quilt.  ( Read more... )
