Everyone seems to be abandoning (well, for the past year) sole use of livejournal in lieu of blogger, wordpress, etc. I like it, although it does make following everyone a bit less convenient without the 'friend list' feed. (Mainly because I haven't learned how to use RSS readers yet...)
yeah i don't even know what the hell an RSS reader is.
i guess i kind of just wanted to keep this livejournal about me - the blog's a little side project that's solely dedicated to music.
i know what you mean about keeping up to date - people post on their LJ, they post on their blog, i don't even have a facebook or twitter - it's impossible to stay up to date with everyone - i agree!
but i'm glad you liked my post. i wanted to start with something a little more personal. i guess we'll see where it goes...
rss readers take a list of feeds and then display them so you can quickly go through them. a feed is a list of posts on a blog or something similar. basically instead of going to a million different blogs you go to yr rss reader where there is an aggregated list of all the posts on blogs you like to read. they are really very handy. on most blogs you will see a little rss feed link or icon. you can click on that or you can copy the link and paste it into the add url of feed bitin yr chosen rss reader.
