R is visiting her this morning and I will be in around the middle of the day. Happier news is that S became a father again in absentia two days ago when Bennett was born. S had to ( Read more... )

Congratulations to Sam and Jules - and of course Bennett's grandpa and aunt. Our love and congratulations to Marita who is always in our thoughts.
Please call on us if there is anything at all we can do to help.

It was so nice that Sam could be with you, but so sad he missed his child's birth. It must be extra hard for them at the moment.
I wish we could be there with you, in person as well our as thoughts.

Sending all our love and best wishes,
Crispian and Miranda.

Congratulation on birth of grandchild, wonderful news! I'm thinking of both you, Marita and you, Chris so much. It is good that I can catch up on your news through the livejournal. Lots of love, Jo Towler

Wonderful news about Bennett, but sad that Sam missed the birth - he must feel very torn at the moment. However it sounds like Jules has coped very well.

My love to Marita and all of you. Please let me know if there is anything at all I can do for you, even gardening, shopping, or cleaning house (I might not do the latter very often, but I can if I put my mind to it :-).

Rachel and I were talking the other night about that curry we shared with you and Chris when we ran into you in Mt Buller a few years ago. Lots of red wine (of course) and a few tall tales from Chris about fly fishing using live flies as bait... Happy times! You may not know this but we are moving to Melbourne and selling up. Although sad to leave, it is a fresh start for Rach who has accepted a terrific promotion so I see it as a positive step. My thoughts are with you often Marita, I like to think of all the positive energy you are receiving from your friends and family as somehow revitalising your energy stores!

Much love to you and your family as usual!

Emily
