So I just got caught up on this season of Skins.

This year is like...REALLY depressing, am I right?? Sheesh.

Ohh was that it? I couldn't tell if it was 2 weeks long, or it STARTED in 2 weeks haha. But yeah I thought Cook's was the best so far this year!

according to clips from next week's ep, Cook broke out of jail. Somehow.

This season has been completely useless (save Cook's ep.)

Seriously?? LOL that kid is ridiculous!! But yeah I loved Cook's episode. I still like the show, it's just been SO sad.

I swear Skins is trying to get it's VIEWERS to commit suicide, too. God. I mean, everything that happened was fucking depressing, but this week was just SO bleak and... fuck.

I miss the old gang, too <3

I kind of like it because despite being so crazy it is realistic for a girl Effy's age to all of the sudden become nuts, that's usually the age when that kind of stuff comes out in people. And unfortunately my own sister is ENTIRELY too much like Effy, especially lately, so I didn't mind it. I don't know which is more depressing, the show being that sad or the fact that it made me feel better about my own shitty situation LOL!

Oh yeah, I definitely think that it was realistic even though it was so crazy, because, as awesome as Effy was/is, she was always very close to the edge and I thought her descent in this ep was entirely believable. I know several people in real life who are.... balancing on the edge like that, for the lack of a better word. I know a few people think it came out of nowhere, but it really didn't. But it wouldn't hurt the show to show us SOME TINY HAPPY THING, like, ONCE THIS SEASON :D

It's not that I don't love the angst, I still think the show is great, it would just be nice to have one happy thing happen haha. Everything is so doom and gloom! They need a holiday or something.

LOL I kind of love it too! I just wish there were some happy moments thrown in there. I don't like ending every episode wanting to cry my eyes out haha!

There should be a jears concept for Skins so we could make fun of its constant sadness y/y?
