I would love to go to Scotland! It's on my list of places I'll get to eventually haha, I'd love to go back to England and Ireland as well!

I got accepted to Rowan and Rutgers.. and didn't go to either. XD Ended up in good ole' Penn State. Also, my Dad lives in East Brunswick and I was just there this past weekend. :) It's awesome you know my neighborhood.. er.. Jersey. Because you're awesome, of course.

I actually had one of the long ones that looks like a letter opener, they seem to work better when you're doing it 8 hours a day lol.

Yea, just about everyone in The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao is a jerk. Oscar a little less than everyone else... I had a hard time getting through it, but I was determined to finish the thing. Probably would have helped if I knew more Spanish.

Man I thought maybe it turned around at some point! I hate reading books where you don't like any of the characters, even if the story is good you're like, "...I don't even really care."

You certainly find out why they're all jerks, but it takes way too long to get to that point...

And I would avoid And Then We Came to the End. It's the same way - all of the characters are jerks and you don't care why after about 30 pages. The reviews that claim that the book is funny are full of lies. :)
