Can somebody please remove these cutleries from my knees?

A. You know who is absolutely FREAKING AWESOME??!! My Poozle. aka quidditchkiss.

Why, you ask? After having one of the worst nights/mornings in recent memory, I come home from work tonight to find a package in my mailbox. What was in that package?

Just the BEST THING EVER. )

cats, poozle, real life, tree of life afghan, knitting, f-list

Rachel that blanket almost makes me weep, it's so frakkin pretty. I would have given a lung to have someone make a blanket like that for one of my babies. And I would have framed it or something, srsly.

And yay for Miranda and her recovery and her opened eye! I believe in miracles now.

Aw thanks!! It's too bad I didn't know you then, you know I would have made you one XD

i cannot BELIEVE her eye opened!! It was the other night, and she turned to look at me and she just...HAD TWO EYES and I was like WTFFFF hahaha. The vet said her skin was actually like GROWN TOGETHER, it doesn't make any sense that it should open! But alas, here we are hahaha.

Aw that makes me so happy. I have two kitties and even though they are often spawn of Satan, I don't know what I'd do without them.

And thanks for the retroactive (I don't think that's the right word) blankie offer!

Man, I wish I could knit. One day my pocket Knitting for Dummies will come in handy.

Glad your cat is okay. I don't know what I would do if my cat got sick and I had to do something drastic.

I taught myself, you know. I just decided one day I was going to do it and I just...did it haha. It's fun!

Thanks :D me too, we were all a wreck over it. She was never supposed to live like a week after I had found her, so the fact that she's still kicking it 2 1/2 years later is awesome, but it also makes it horrible when she gets really sick because we don't know if she'll be able to handle it.

I told myself over Spring Break I was going to get some yarn, but I was a lazy butt.

Love the poster and the blanket! The leaves as edges are awesome! :D

I'm glad Miranda is better! And that's too weird about her eye. Kitties are strange creatures, are they not? Perhaps after he emergency experience she was like, screw this partial vision, I want to see it all! ;)

Thanks!!

It's hilarious, this eye thing. She looks at me now and I'm like I DON'T EVEN FEEL LIKE I KNOW YOU ANYMORE.

I'm sending good internet vibes to Miranda, as is my doggie, Winston.

Aww, I'd want to know all the details (I work as a veterinary nurse!) 'cause I'm a nerd like that. I'm glad to hear your kitty is doing better. We had a really sick one come in today that had to be put to sleep. I was sad. :(

Aw haha! Well...without BORING you...I found Miranda when she was 6 months old and she was practically dead. She weighed 1 pound and she looked like a bat skeleton or something, it was awful. So anyway it turned out she has a liver shunt, so she's on medication to control her liver and blood ammonia levels and whatnot. But then apparently her ammonia levels went CRAZY over the weekend, and on top of it she has some kind of "raging infection" as the vet put it, so the liver's making the infection worse and vice versa. She was such a mess, she had this awful tremor that wouldn't even stop while she was asleep, she wasn't eating anything, she couldn't walk or stand, she had a bad fever, she was like a rag doll. We were so worried about her! With a cat that's as chronically sick as she is, I'm sure you know, when she starts acting like that we never know if we're going to go to the vet and have them just tell us she's go to be put down ( ... )
