summer is coming, and you know what that means - shows abound! i will hopefully be attending all of the following shows as long as i can get tickets before they sell out, so if you'd like to go, let me know ( Read more... )

Ohhhhhh-I knew Ryan Adams, Ben Folds and Weezer were going to be in Philly all during the same week and that it would be impossible to go. But Old 97's in June as well?? Part of me is so sad and part of me is glad I live so far away because I would go broke going to all of these shows. I hope you get to all of them!

aw music doesn't necessarily die there...you just have to travel much, MUCH further to find it. look at all the stuff coming out of omaha! steaks, conor oberst, and all the people who used to be on nickelodeon in the 80's.

and look at this obviously hip band from your new home of wisconsin - they're called pickin' up speed. i can see why.
