LOL I was going to make it yes or no because I have a feeling everyone will pick I don't know. I just like to find out what side people are on when it comes to stuff like that. It's great how it's kind of half and half.

oh and HAHA JEARS I get it now!

also, I like this just getting a little bit at a time thing and not all the losties all at once. and that's saying A LOT since I REALLY want to see some Desmond action!

oh trust me, I want Desmond action too. But i don't like it when they try to do too much at once. That's when you're left wtfing without any sense of what happened haha.

There really is only one answer to that Sawyer question. Obviously.

Strider. Mmmm.

Re: how Strider talks. Remember that LotR is "derived" from the Red Book, which was written by Hobbits and then look again at how the Hobbits are all sort of earthy and vulgar and "natural" and how the Men, at least those of noble history, and Elves speak in more formal, "high" speech, as if in an old epic or something. I believe it's not just Tolkien indicating their nobility/age subtly by speech patterns, but also choosing to keep the Hobbits as our entry point into the story, making the Men more alien and less approachable. It works with the idea that the Hobbits are telling the story, and would thus present the Men differently. Also, it thematically supports the idea that the Men of Westernesse as well as the Elves are fading from Middle-earth and thus speak more like old poetry.

I love looking at LotR as an inter-war Modern novel....

JEARS is everlasting!!!

Seriously, throughout all of Jack's relationships with people, on and off the island, he still goes back to his one true love: his sweet, ever-flowing tears.

Sawyer > pwns all.

Although, I wonder if he really didn't know they were being watched and listened too. Didn't he see the camera at some point? Or did I dream that?

LMAO you realize you have started something with this?! Everyone freaking loves it. JEARS FTW!!!

I can't remember if he saw the cameras...I don't think he did, though. Not yet anyway.

Ridiculous amount of tension indeed. And yeah- Juliet weirds me out... I don't know.

Maybe Sarah started cheating on Jack because it turned out he was a woman and she wasn't into that sort of thing. Cause SERIOUSLY, Jack has more moodswing than anyone ever. He's like pure PMS.

And see, Charlie is my fav and I've been juuuuuust fine with seeing everyone else first. The wait has me all excited. And I like how they're doing plot development... People just need to chill. I can't believe there are people already saying "omg, I'm going to stop watching."

Yeah it's the people who are getting like, PISSED OFF that other characters haven't been on yet. I love Charlie too! And Desmond! And Hurley! But we'll get them all next week. Yay.

LOL Jack is definitely pure PMS. While some are made of awesome, Jack is made of estrogen.

Same here! I can't wait to see more Desmond and what's up with Eko. And dear Hurley and everyone else, but seriously- it's not live we're never ever going to see them...

While some are made of awesome, Jack is made of estrogen.

Oh god. Best thing EVER.

Couples that are having trouble conceiving need only to touch Jack's tears to become fertile.

Hence, Jin and Sun. This, my friend, is a big reveal.
