I have an awesome new Lost theory. Seriously.
OKAY. So. In the simplest way to explain this:
In the bible, Benjamin is Jacob's youngest son. Benjamin also formed one of the 12 tribes of Isreal.
Jacob is the dude on the island who runs things. He is a "great man, but an unforgiving man."
Let's just say, for my theory's sake, that Benry is Jacob's son.
And let's say that on last night's episode he asked Locke what it felt like when his father tried to kill him because Jacob tried to kill Ben??
Like by, I don't know, leaving him on an island he knew would cause tumors or something.
Or throwing him out of a building lol. Who knows.
Other points of interest:
Jacob's Ladder = Ladder that reached to heaven
Rachel in the bible = Jacob's wife and Benjamins mother, who died during childbirth. She also had trouble conceiving a child for many years.
Rachel on Lost = Juliet's sister, who was miraculously impregnated, even though she was obviously sick, and had apparently been trying to get pregnant for a long time.
We know that Juliet and Ben have a history, but we still don't know what the history is! What if in some weird time warp Juliet's sister Rachel is Ben's mother????????
OKAY AND ALSO: this is so freaking cool. This is from Wiki, so I'm not sure how accurate it is, but LOOK:
