Well, yes, but I think it was less a matter of coping and more a matter of patience. I have no patience.

Yes, but with the people I'm mourning, if I'd gotten over the initial impatience it would not have been repeated. Zah? So, yeah, beyond that first two months or so, they wouldn't have driven me nuts. So really, neither kind of coping that you described.

i feel ya. my class doesn't graduate till next year, and i still felt like i saw a *lot* of people go that i'll miss.
not only that, but i'm supposed to stay behind for at least a year and a half of grad school. boo being left behind. o_O
