oh my goodness, this is lovely. i absolutely adore this verse. it's blessedly angst free, though of course the potential for angst is always there. i like the non-epic feel of it, though, the casual intimacy, the bonds between them that go somewhat beyond conventional definition. in short, this verse makes me smile like a loon.
