Oh, I'm so glad I came over to check. I didn't see it posted to any comms I'm watching.

This is just delicious. So many lovely observations. I think 'warm and wicked' is my favourite description of Chuck's voice so far, and I love the real friendship that's still there with Nate and Blair, because I think they'd need it here. I find them a scarily implausible couple but they make great friends!

Also, “Your coffee preference hasn’t changed, has it?” is a great Blair line *g*

Oh, I was going to crosspost over at chuck_nate, I just hadn't gotten around to it yet. :)

Thank you! I'm not keen on Nate and Blair as a couple either... I think they were mostly based on both of them really wanting it to work, but they're not really romantically compatible in reality. But they'd have never made it as long as they did, I don't think, if they didn't have genuine affection for each other. So. I guess I'm saying I totally agree, haha.

I can't take credit for it, unfortunately- it's a direct quote from a friend of mine's Blair.

I've been wondering when someone would do a what-would-happen-if-they-were-discovered fic. Proves how right Zen/Buddhists are: We create our own realities. The world goes on as ever for Chuck, and Nate's world falls apart.

Chuck cares way less about what people think of him, definitely, and I'm sure it doesn't hurt that all sorts of debauchery are pretty much par for the course for him. Nate's rather more prone to drama- but that's part of why I like writing him.
