I'm probably becoming a little too enamoured with this idea for my own good. From a logical viewpoint, it's unlikely to happen given that he's not only doing Ashes to Ashes but also Demons at the moment. Well, my favorite has to be that he is acquainted with the Master already!!! Lol! I adore this idea and you have done a great ad campaign!! *wipes up drool* How awesome would that be to have him as 11?!?

I think the one with Master is my favorite one as well, because Sam/Gene in any way, shape or form is always awesome. And heh, how often do you see a campaign ad the provokes the use of tissues *hands you a couple, just in case*

It would be incredibly, epicly awesome to have him as 11. ;P

He's a fantastic option on his own, but if they brought John Simm back as the Master? It would be so amazingly awesome, on so many levels. You'd be able to read Life on Mars / Ashes to Ashes in a completely different light. Hmm. Now I sort of want to go rewatch those while pretending that Gene Hunt is the Doctor...

It was the sheer fact that Simm was the Master that kickstarted the idea! My ideal storyline would be for Ten and the Simm!Master to meet again and then the Doctor dies in the Master's presence (either at his hands or otherwise). Tennant would then regenerate into Glenister - and then you could have Doctor/Master with Gene/Sam overtones.

Now I sort of want to go rewatch those while pretending that Gene Hunt is the Doctor...
I haven't actually done that, but now suddenly I know what I'll be doing tonight!
